The long term effects of conflicts and wars have been captured by Till Mayer for many years. His photos and reports document them. The journalist and photographer has been awarded many times so far. He currently works as an editor for the daily newspapers “Obermain-Tagblatt”. He has also contributes as a freelancer for numerous newspapers, news portals and magazines. He is the author of several illustrated books: “Beyond the battlefields” (2010), “Barrier:Zones” (2015), “Dark journeys” (2018) and “Donbas – a forgotten war in Europe” (2019) were published by Erich Weiß Verlag. The Herder Verlag published “Red Corner, hard life” in 2007.
