Till Mayer travelled to the frontline in Donbass with the Ukrainian photographer Oles Krompliast the end of October.
It was the Bamberg journalist’s fourth trip to this battle zone. This time they visited the trenches around Luhansk. With his pictures from the trenches of the current war in the eastern Ukraine, Till Mayer also wants to remind us of the end of the First World War 100 years ago. In December another travel to Mariupol followed.
